ALLAN HIRSCH SHARES TIPS ON HOW TO CLOSE A SALE!
Hirsch’s Centurion recently hosted their monthly networking morning where entrepreneurs and representatives of larger companies were invited to come and socialize, network, and build relationships with each other.
The guest speaker for the morning was the Founder of the Hirsch’s group, Allan Hirsch. With eighteen branches and concept stores spread throughout South Africa, Hirsch’s have become a force to be reckoned with. An appliance repairman who unwittingly became an entrepreneur, Allan and his wife Margaret started their family-run appliance business in a tiny showroom in Umhlanga Rocks Drive, Durban, in 1979 with just R900 that they had saved. Today Hirsch’s has grown into a chain of mega appliance and home furnishing stores in KZN, Cape Town, and Gauteng.
Commented the store PRO, Tsz Yan Lau, “Allan started his talk by giving the attendees some do’s and dont’s to selling and what makes a person a GREAT salesman, he then touched on the different types of selling and how each customer is different, and knowing these differences to make it easier to communicate with them in order to close the deal.”
After the talk, Allan was presented with a “Most humble, down-to-earth and amazing Boss!” award by Tsz Yan on behalf of the Hirsch’s Centurion team.
The attendees also brought shoeboxes for the donation in December where a child in need will be receiving a box with little gifts inside.
Thereafter, everyone received 30 seconds to punt their business and network after.
