Hirsch’s Centurion recently hosted their monthly Business Networking where like-minded business men and women came together to promote their business as well as listen to our informative guest speaker.
Anandie Greyling, who is a minister at Doornkloof Family Church and is currently furthering her studies with a second Master’s degree in Theology, gave a short talk on language as a social construct. She explained the importance of language and how to use it to create your reality. She spoke about red and green language in the workplace and how this affects our realities and our attitudes.
After the presentation, everyone got a chance to introduce themselves and give a short description of their business. The networking event was closed with a few lucky draws, but guests stayed on to get to know each other over a cappuccino or two. Guests took this opportunity to really market themselves, their skills and companies as face to face marketing holds so much more value.
