Fourways Celebrates Sweet 16
Hirsch’s Fourways recently celebrated their “Sweet 16” birthday. The branch was built on an old ostrich farm, however the Fourways area has come a LONG long way since then, and now it is more usual to find cars in the car park, rather than ostriches. Regional Manager Norman Brassell was the original branch manager and he was in attendance and got a little nostalgic throughout the day recalling the early days and telling tales of days gone by. However the Hirsch family values and good deals that it started with in 1979 in Durban North have never changed.
Birthday celebrations included a balloon fest, and all the stops were pulled out to make it memorable. “We gave ice cream, compliments of Liebherr and amazing cakes compliments of SMEG, Samsung, Defy, Atomic Marketing and Elba to thank our amazing customers for their loyalty and support. We even had a celebrity, Jeremy Mansfield pop in as well as one of our finalists from the Margaret Hirsch Women in Business, Kerry Walsh. It was an amazing weekend,” said Sharron Dingle the PRO.
