The true meaning of Christmas was celebrated by Hirsch Fourways staff when they recently visited the Hearts of Hope home nestled in Wendywood, Sandton. The staff from the Fourways Branch regularly donate to worthy causes and in this case it was food stuff, like long life milk, tinned foods, nappies and lots of soft toys as well, just in time for Christmas. Commented Hirsch’s PRO Sharron Dingle,“This facility is a a true Heart of Hope for the community. They look after children from new-born babies right up to 18 year olds. They care for abandoned as well as HIV babies, and are doing an amazing job. They not only love them and care for them as you would expect, they also have a development program to educate them and equip them for their futures whether they remain in the facility or get adopted or re-united. This home is a home of hope and joy, with a twinge of sadness.” She said.
