How to break out of a motivational slump?

Sometimes it’s like a continuous cycle where we are motivated for a period of time,
fall out and then have to build things back up again. It is the inner power that pushes you toward taking action and toward accomplishment.
It is also powered by desire and spirit, and therefore, if they are far away, motivation is absent too.

Set a goal.

If you have a major goal, split it into several minor goals, each small goal leading to your major goal.
This will also help you feel that the goal is more feasible and easier to accomplish.

What you start is important

Knock into your mind that whatever you start you have to finish. Build a good habit of going to the finish line.

Socialise people with similar interests or goals, as you know motivation and positive attitude are contagious. Associate with motivated people, who share same interests as you.

Stop procrastinating

Procrastination leads to laziness and becomes lack of motivation and confidence.

Persistence, patience and not giving up. Regardless of failure and problems, keep the flame of motivation burning.

Visualize your goal as already accomplished, adding a feeling of pleasure and joy.

Achieving goals and staying motivated requires self-discipline.
