Hirsch’s Meadowdale recently hosted a successful Business Networking Morning with entrepreneurs from different industries ready to network and talk business with likeminded individuals.
Guest Speakers for the morning – Stephen van Basten (Relationship Guru) and Vinesh Maharaj (Sales Guru) spoke about- “How to get into Peak State to Achieve your Sales Goals.”
Stephen is a leading public speaker, trainer, author and coach in Relationship Mastery and Sales Intelligence.
Vinesh boasts a successful sales career and has twenty years of experience in training sales people on how to best sell products and services to all levels of business.
The duo explained that from a very young age people are programmed to think negatively as the most common words we hear are “Don’t” and “No.”
This affects peoples’ success levels as they fear the unknown and are scared of rejection and thus it hinders their full potential.
“If people are easily affected to think negatively, surely it should be just as easy to affect people positively by changing the No’s into Yes’s and the Don’ts into Do’s.
To get into Peak State of your Sales Goals you have to turn your negative thoughts off and think positively, stop fearing rejection from customers and know your why. If you know your WHY you will work harder and be more determined to turn your vision into a reality.” Said Vinesh.
At the end of the talk, August Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Finalist- Ciska Scheepers was awarded with a certificate and Hirsch voucher. Ciska is a beauty and therapeutical reflexologist with over 20 years’ experience within the industry. Her business ‘Ciska’s Salon’ is based in the Kempton Park area.
