Here are a few simple steps you can take to achieve your goals
First realize that you can achieve your goals and you can enjoy the success and happiness you want, However, sometimes you set goals that are realistic and you think you should be able to achieve them but for some reason things don’t work out.
Something seems to go wrong, you make a bad choice or maybe you get distracted by life’s daily demands like work, family and other responsibilities.
- Before you know it years go by and you still haven’t achieved those goals.
- You’re no further ahead and,
- You may have forgot about what you really wanted.
Then you realize your life needs to get better, you need to make changes and you need to achieve your goals now
So you decide to start again. You tell yourself: “This time I’m going to succeed. This time I’m not giving up.”
A few weeks go by, you think about that goal you wanted to achieve and realize you got distracted… again
Then your mind comes up with all kinds of excuses.
These are the thoughts which sound like:

- “I’ll get started tomorrow”

Over the years you’ve conditioned your mind and subconscious mind to get distracted and avoid focusing on your goals and what’s really important to you.
You’ve also trained your mind and subconscious mind to accept the negative thoughts which force you to give up on your goals.
So now when you want to succeed, when you want to achieve your goals, when you make that commitment and decide to finally make some real changes, you can’t.
Instead you get distracted.

That’s only because they’ve been on your subconscious mind for so long that they’re now in control of you.

So think about your goals and what you want to achieve. If you hear any negative thoughts coming up you need to change them and replace them.
Then you need to create new thoughts and new beliefs, the kind that help you succeed and achieve your goals.
Now when you try to do that you’ll get a lot of resistance from your mind and those negative thoughts will get stronger and stronger.
That’s when you’re likely to give up. Don’t.
