MAKE THE MOST OF LIFE!
Hirsch’s Hillcrest recently hosted their popular monthly Women In Business Networking Morning with over 40 women from all walks of business attending the event to network and listen to the inspiring story from guest speaker, coach and hope giver Tina Beckbessinger, the longest surviving recipient of a Bilateral Lung & Heart Transplant in Africa.
Commented Hirsch’s Jonathan Brauteseth, Tina gave an inspiring talk, sharing her story of recovery and touching on the importance of organ donation in South Africa. She also gave attendees some points on how to live their lives to the fullest and to stop and take stock of the people in it while we’re alive”. “Being alive motivates me, being able to breathe, seeing a flower bloom,” she said. No wonder her favorite pastime is gardening. Different plants are suited to grow in different conditions, so nurturing a healthy garden requires an understanding of each organism. The same is true of people. Beckbessinger’s growth into the woman she is today is in no small measure due to the love and support of her friends and family.
