Kiwi Fruit
Kiwi fruit are fat-free and low in sodium, containing only 2 mg per fruit. A serving contains 11g of carbohydrates, including 7g of sugar. They contain small amounts of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids, essential fatty acids the body cannot produce itself. Kiwi fruit are high in vitamins C and K. They are also known as the Chinese Gooseberry.

Serves 2
1 green melon, deseeded, peeled, and cut into small cubes 4 kiwi fruit, peeled and cut into quarters
30 ml honey
A few fresh mint leaves
250 ml apple juice or water
1. Place all ingredients in a smoothie-maker, blender, or a plunge blender. On medium speed, blitz ingredients until smooth.
2. Add a few ice cubes if required very chilled. 3. Serve immediately.
Equipment: Sharp knife, tablespoon, kitchen scissors, chopping board, measuring spoon, measuring jug, spatula, jug for serving, tasting cups.
