Hirsch’s Centurion recently hosted a business networking event, with top business motivators, Vinesh Maharaj and Stephen van Basten as their guest speakers. Vinesh and Stephen spoke about multi-Level marketing as well as sales, knowing your customers needs and coming up with solutions to those clients specific needs. Commented Hirsch’s Angelique Redelinghuys “Stephen,who is more focused on being an inner game coach, explained how we should all first analyse ourselves before we can help others. He explained that we should have a different perspective on what we do for a living. For instance, sales men are not just salesmen. Sales people serve others, be it selling a person a car, house or even home appliances, they serve people. Stephen also showed us how to analyse others by looking at their facial features, he explained that people’s facial features give away certain traits – formal or informal, self-reliant or being reliant on others – these tips could help you make a great sales pitch.”
“Vinesh, being the sales guru, spoke about not over thinking when trying to make a sale or when we have to do cold calling. He said that we have become so afraid of picking up the phone and calling new clients and commented that we have become averse to doing a simple task such as knocking on peoples doors, phoning new clients, being outspoken and getting a potential clients attention.
The business networking ended with all of the attendees networking and exchanging numbers and enjoying lovely refreshments.
