Hirsch’s Hyde Park recently hosted their monthly ladies network morning with guest speakers, Stephen van Basten and Vinesh Maharaj, the founders of The YinYang of Sales. They specialise in helping businesses, owners, entrepreneurs and network marketers to pitch and close more deals while banking more money.
Stephen started the session by stressing the fact that we can reprogram our brains to create the exact life that we want. “Everyone of us is an excellent salesperson, we just need to use the tools that we are given and work at it every day. Sales only happen after 8 connections and the average salesperson only follows up 3 times.” He said.
Explained Vinesh “Your target market needs to know that you are there. Between a set of newborn twins, who gets the most milk? – the one who screams the loudest”
The networkers were given the opportunity to present themselves and their businesses in a 60-second elevator pitch. This was followed by a lucky draw, networking, sharing of business cards and enjoying refreshments.
