Hirsch’s Homestore in Ballito recently held their monthly Domestic Workers Training Course, inspiring and empowering domestic workers on the North Coast who got together at the store for the morning.
The course started off with a motivational talk on work ethics and empowerment by Chantal Kemp, owner of Business Administration Consultants – a company specialising in human resources matters for both private households and companies, followed by a tour around the different departments in the store and demonstration on how to clean and maintain the different appliances. To end the course off the ladies received an exciting and interactive demonstration on how to make a healthy snack before they each received their certificate of completion for attending the course.
A special award was given to Sthabile Ntuli who won the Domestic Worker of the Month competition and walked away with a Hirsch’s Voucher to spend on herself!
“I nominate Sthabile Ntuli best housekeeper in KZN! She is kind, compassionate and incredibly willing to do whatever I ask her to do. She looks after my two cats and the two parrots, takes care of the house, and is generally the best housekeeper that I have ever had. May God bless her and continue to bestow kindness and a happy outlook on her life. She is just incredible!” Said Roselyne Etkin who nominated her for the award.
If you would like to attend the next course nominate your domestic worker as the domestic worker for the month, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 032 9467400 for more information.
