Hirsch’s Centurion launched their new Demonstration Kitchen recently with Celebrity Chef Marty Klinzman.
Marty is a renowned and respected chef and author who started the YOUR FAMILY magazine, and was their food editor for 8 years. She also helped to start STYLE magazine and was their food editor for 16 years; She has also been Editor and Food Editor for PnP CHOICES Magazine; Editor and Food Editor for WINE @ FOOD Magazine and is a contributor to various other magazines. She has also authored 16 Cook books, and was the Marketing and Public Relations consultant to Kenwood for 34 years.
The Theme for the evening was “A Taste of the USA” featuring the following quick and easy recipes:
- Blue Cheese and Walnut Mayo Dip
- Lemony Pea and Mint soup with Focaccia
- Pasta with Fresh Tomato and Basil Sauce
- Rich Chocolate Brownies
- Almost instant Berry Ice Cream
- American Mint Lemonade
A variety of Kenwood appliances were showcased in preparing the dishes and guests had the privilege of sampling them after the event – with the unanimous comment:‘delicious – please can we do this again’!
