                     Of mention too, Floy at the warehouse collection was
                     also so respectful and nice.

                     People that go out of their way for the customer
                     do deserve some praise and credit.

    Attached is email communication between your company and myself from its contents you will note our satisfaction in having dealt with Hirsch Stores and not for the first time may I add.
    As brief outline I am close on 80years old  my wife Linda is not too far behind. We took the decision to sell up our home lock stock and barrel and move into a retirement complex in Amanzimtoti
    Obviously making such a move at our age a purchase of this nature will probably be the last
    The reason for this mail is to let you know how satisfied we are in having spent in excess of R12000.00 with Hirsch.
    Yes we shopped around but unfortunately the word service seems to have disappeared from the category and vocabulary of Discount Stores except that of Hirsch.
    The contents of my mail below tells its own story. Our dealings with Yunus Dala were exemplary and he knows and understands the products
    Please pass on our sincere thanks to your staff and Charlene the store manager whom I haven’t met for the manner that they conducted themselves whilst attending to us, particularly as I am reliant on a right leg prosthesis and the offer of a chair whilst being showed product  was always at hand

    Yesterday morning my wife and myself popped into Hirsch's Umgeni Road Springfield  to have a look at the items offered on the website
    I am  certain that you will be pleased to know that we were met by a very pleasant and knowledgeable sales assistant. Yunus Dala  whom we had dealt with on a previous occasion  in fact even when he worked at Game.  He took us upstairs and having listened to our requirements took us through the range of DEFY products that we wanted at the same time guiding and advising us on what he suggested would suit our needs.
     
    Being very satisfied with what had been offered we have placed an order for a Defy Fridge,7Kg Washing Machine and a Microwave. We will be back in store on Wednesday to Pay and arrangements have also been made for the delivery to Amanzimtoti
     
    A sincere thank you for your prompt response to my original mail. It was much appreciated and beneficial to us all

    I would just like to bring to your attention that your Branch Manager Rahind Narain of your Hillcrest branch, to complement him for the excellent service that he has provided to me regarding a Samsung TV that I bought from Hirsch Hillcrest in 2015, I believe you would go very far to get somebody that works for a company that will go out of their way for customers like Rahind has done for me, he has really gone out of his way to support me and I believe he is a well deserved asset to your company.

    Thank you for your assistance.  I have a small guest house and one of the fridges collapsed at an inconvenient time. Dunkeld branch did not have one immediately and I could not get to other branches due to my own business travels.  I ordered on line on Friday 8th and Preline organised for it to be available on Saturday morning.    I collected on Saturday morning without hitch.   I had the replacement fridge before my guests arrived on Sunday.  Your online staff went the extra mile for me, thank you.

    I initially contacted the helpdesk to enquire about a bed that was posted as a special but it has unfortunately expired.
    Although the special had expired,  Preline Moodley was able to offer me an exceptional price on Simmons Bed set.
    She was in constantly in contact and followed through from the purchase through to delivery,
    Without a doubt, one of the best experiences I had with any purchase.

    I would just like to compliment you overall on the excellent staff at your new Hirsh’s store in Dunkeld.
    I went in on Saturday just for a look, and from the moment I stepped into the store, to each person in their different sections, I was greeted, politely offered knowledgeable service without being harassed, and found it an absolute pleasure to shop there, thank you.
    I will certainly be back, and it will be my first stop when I need things in future.

  • Good morning Margaret, I am the customer that had  a problem with the Defy Ceran Hob. We very often complain about poor service levels. When staff do go outside their normal scope of work to ensure customer satisfaction, we must commend. The long and the short of my problem was the hob was to be installed on Monday, I visited the store on Saturday and chatted to Lilian & Joewell they made it happen on Saturday, now that’s what I call going beyond the normal boundaries to satisfy a client, my wife and myself was most appreciative. I work with internal and external customers, when staff have performed exceptionally, they must be commended and Margaret, appreciate if you can personally thank both of your staff on our behalf. Just to share with you Margaret, at my business unit meeting this week, I had shared my success story with my staff and fellow colleagues.  Feels good to receive good service as in my position, always putting out fires and keeping customers calm and happy.   • Last year I ordered a fridge online from Hirschs and had the pleasure of dealing with Preline. She was extremely professional and provided great assistance with the whole process – ensuring that a distance delivery took place quickly and efficiently. I have just ordered two more fridge/freezers online from Hirschs and have again been dealing with Preline. Once more it was a pleasure for me – she has been very helpful and ensured another distance delivery took place with minimal fuss and effort on my part. She is a wonderful representative for your company and I wanted to express my thanks. Together with Jerome, the driver who handled the delivery, I have had another great experience with Hirschs and will definitely be a repeat customer, and recommend the company to friends and family.   • I wish to commend your staff member, Chris, for the way he served me on my visit to your Milnerton store on Thursday, 24 December. He was courteous and friendly as he assisted me to find the right "last minute Christmas shopping" gift, not giving up until he knew I was happy with the decision. I later found that he was a "back office" employee, I stand to be corrected. However, if this is the case, I think you should really consider having him in front of house more often. His courteous and professional manner left me feeling important. Such professionalism is rare nowadays. Chris is an asset to your organization and is part of the reason I look forward to doing business with you again in the future. Sade and Chris, Thank you both for making my shopping experience a pleasant one. I trust your store will be very successful with employees like these.   • I just wanted to compliment you and your staff for the wonderful service I received there today. I work in Ridgeside Office Park and left work at about 12h45pm to come and buy a spindel for my new granddaughter being born in January. As I entered a lovely young lady came straight to me and asked if she could assist me.  We went straight to where the spindels were and I chose the bigger version and because she was so little, she asked a Hirsch salesman to carry it to the cashier for us.  We went straight to a cashier and I paid and another salesman helped me to my car. I was back at work by 1h10pm!!!! The ladies at work could not believe it. Well done and Merry Xmas to you and your staff.
