Hirsch’s Milnerton Branch recently held a food demonstration with the Big Green Egg, a state of the art outdoor product that braais, bakes, smokes and grills. The food choice for the evening was lemon chicken and Foccacia, and guests were welcomed with refreshments and a Big Green Egg recipe Book. The food was prepared in the Green Egg and a demonstration was done on how to use this major appliance.
‘For the best results, Preheat the Big Green Egg to 220 degrees Celsius with ceramic stone inside of it with the lid closed.’ Said Chef, Goetz Bauer.
Maria Edwards won the lucky prize draw and she took home a voucher from Tandem Hair Design. ‘Rene Louw’ took home a Hirsch’s ‘Mum’s on the Run Cook Book’.
