THE PSYCHOLOGY OF SELLING

Hirsch’s Silverlakes recently hosted their monthly networking morning where entrepreneurs and representatives of larger companies were invited to come along and mingle, socialize, network and build relationships with each other.

The guest speaker for the morning is Gerda Kotze, owner of Purposely Ignited. She is an accredited Results Coaching Systems (Neuroleadership) coach and is registered with the ICF and COMENSA. Gerda was the first woman in South Africa trained in Semco Style through the Semco Style Institute in Amsterdam. She also has certifications in Design Thinking Principles, NLP and Mindfulness.

Commented the store PRO, Tsz Yan Lau, “Gerda gave some amazing tips on how to be more conscious when selling. She mentioned that we should be familiar with a wide range of potential psychological and social threats that create avoidance behavior, learn to spot threats early, know your personality style and practice self-reflection to understand yourself.”

Attendees then had 30 seconds to talk about their business and this was followed by lucky draw prizes for cookbooks,  and sponsored prizes were then given out.
