WOMEN SHOULD STOP SELLING THEMSELVES SHORT.

Female entrepreneurs within the Germiston area recently gathered at Hirsch’s Meadowdale recently for yet another Ladies Networking event hosted by Hirsch’s.  Networkers were all ready to be inspired by Brenda Hill’s talk- “Women, Stop Selling Yourself Short!”

Brenda is the owner of Beautiful Life, she is an image consultant, personal brand coach, the President of ‘SA Assoc. for Image Professionals’ and a Margaret Hirsch Woman In Business Finalist 2017/2018.  She said that from a young age, fairy tail stories paint a picture of women all waiting for a knight in shining armour to rescue the damsel in distress. “This is not true and secondly- this puts us in a box of thinking that men should always take care of women.  Women should stop living on auto pilot allowing other people to steer our direction and shape our lives.  We have to start thinking of being capable- we need to take more risks, volunteer more and develop self- awareness.  We are the women who are going to change this country and ultimately change the world, so we don’t have the time to sell ourselves short.” Said Brenda.

After Brenda’s talk, Margaret Hirsch COO of the Hirsch Group wrapped up the morning with an inspirational message to all the women- encouraging them to follow their dreams, to grab every opportunity with both hands and to live the best version of themselves.
