This apple tart is ideal as a perfect ending to a meal or served as a teatime treat. Delish and easy to make!
1 packet tennis biscuits, crushed
125g butter, melted
1 tin (385g) condensed milk
1 x 410g tinned pie apples
1 large egg, separated
Preheat oven to 180C.
Mix crushed biscuits with the melted butter and press the mixture on to the base of a greased pie plate. Place in refrigerator.
Mix condensed milk and egg yolk together. In a separate bowl, beat the egg white until glossy (not too thick) and then fold into condensed milk mixture.
Spread apple pieces evenly over biscuit base. Pour condensed milk mixture over apple pieces.
Bake for 45-60 minutes until golden. Serve with whipped cream.
