FINDING OUT MORE ABOUT AIR BNBING YOUR HOME – AT HIRSCH’S
Air BnB owners and local business people recently gathered at Hirsch’s Meadowdale for their very first Air BnB networking event. Guest Speaker for the morning- Neels de Kock, a Semi Retired Mechanical Engineer, active in i2i Consulting (a Consulting One-man Operation) spoke on the Rise of Air BnB.
Many people have heard of Air BnB, but not everyone knows what it actually is. Airbnb is an online marketplace which lets people rent out their properties or spare rooms to guests. Air BnB has become a global phenomenon, as people can travel to new places and save some money as they stay in lock up and go homes at a reasonable price.
Neels also explained how to get started on registering ones own Air BnB, what criteria to follow, the offerings to provide and what other optional extras people are always looking for when staying in an Air BnB.
“We have had tremendous success with all our networking events over the years, and this Air BnB event was no different. It’s amazing to see how many different Air BnB’s there are around is, what the benefits are and just how profitable it actually is by simply renting out a room to guests.” Said Hirsch’s PRO- Letitia Haywood.
After Neels’s talk, attendees were given the opportunity to present themselves and their business in a 30-second ‘elevator pitch’, followed by some lucky draws, networking, sharing of business cards and enjoying some refreshments.
