To celebrate the month of love, and with so much love “in the air” at this time of year, Hirsch’s and Philips got together recently to put together a “Love Is In The Airfryer” cook off for couples around KZN To enter, couples (married, engaged or friends and family) were asked to submit two recipes, a main and dessert that they would like to cook in the Philips Airfryer. Three couples were chosen and the cook off took place at Hirsch’s Umhlanga branch. Spar Park Square and Umhlanga Rocks SuperSpar kindly donated the food for the cook-off.
Winning the event with their delicious, nutritious burger, followed by a decadent Brownie and Churros cooked in the Air Fryer were young parents Robynn and Kyle Osborne who won a Philips Premium XXL Airfryer. Coming second with their crunchy and tasty Mexican inspired cheesy Nachos dish and berry filled pastry cases were the newly married couple, Jarryd and Savannah Du Toit who won a Philips Pro Mix Stick Blender. In third place with their spicy and tasty Chicken Tikka dish with salad and garlic bread and Jam tart were friends Trish Singh and Jennifer Naidoo who won a Philips blender each. Each couple won a selection of Hirsch’s recipe books.
