A lot has happened in 2016.
In our lives
In our businesses
And around the world – think “Brexit” “#feesmustfall”, and “Trump” (that’s a lot!)
As the year draws to a close it’s important to reflect on how life events affect you, whether they’re within your control or not.
What have you allowed into your life that shouldn’t be there?
It could be that you have let go of things that you need the most in your life right now.
It doesn’t matter so much what happens to and around us as much as what we make of it, personalise it or pretend it didn’t happen. Only to realise later that it did in fact redefine who we are, our role or changed the course of our lives – one way or the other. When events happen we take lessons from them or reject what goes against our values, consciously or at a subconscious level.
This is the co-creation process of your life experiences. A combination (or collision) of external events and internal experience.
Therefore, honour your power this week by taking responsibility for your part in creating your experiences of life being the way it is.
This month I want you to set your goals for next year – and as Dr. Steven Covey teaches – start with the end in mind. Start where you want to be this time next year – how do you see yourself – where do you want to be and what do you want to be doing?? How do you want YOUR life to pan out over the next 12 months?? Write it down – if its not on paper its vapour!!!
