Turning your Business into a Building Block at Hirsch’s.
Entrepreneurs within the Germiston community recently gathered at Hirsch’s Meadowdale for their monthly networking event. Ready to share a definite process to successfully starting a business was keynote speaker, serial entrepreneur and author – Willem Gous, an international innovation and life design speaker. He has been an entrepreneur for more than 18 years, has been in the online industry for more than 21 years and has experience ranging from manufacturing, corporate sales, channel management and much more.
“Entrepreneurship promises a growing economy through job creation and greater economic participation. For individuals, it promises the opportunity to financially uplift themselves and build a better life through business ownership. But entrepreneurship rarely if ever delivers on the promises it makes to the business owner. The promises of more time, freedom, money and a better life. We need to focus on entrepreneurs first, and then the businesses will follow.” Said Willem. He shared with guests his unique approach to entrepreneurship that puts the entrepreneur on equal terms to their customers. Turning the business into a building block in their life, making entrepreneurship deliver on its promises to the economy, to communities and business owners.
After Willem’s talk, networkers were given the opportunity to present themselves and their business in a 30-second ‘elevator pitch’, followed by some lucky draws, networking, sharing of business cards and enjoying some refreshments.
