STAR ANISE CHRISTMAS CARROTS

If you tuned in to our live Christmas cooking session recently with LG - we made Star Anise Christmas Carrots. If you missed it you can catch the replay after watching this fabulous recipe.

This dish is super quick and easy to make especially using the LG Neo Chef, it gives your table a pop of colour and not to mention, it is delicious too!

Ingredients:

• 60 g butter, softened, or vegan flora

• 30 ml honey or maple syrup

• 6 star anise seeds

• 800 g Rainbow baby carrots(or large ones quartered)

• ½ bunch parsley, chopped

• 
  

Method:

Mix the butter and honey together in a bowl and add the anise seeds.

Trim carrots and scrub well or peel. Place in a microwave bowl with 25 ml water, cover and cook in the LG Neochef on 100% power for 6 – 8 minutes until just tender. Drain well.

Toss in the honey, butter and anise seeds. Add in parsley and serve.

Making this dish in the LG Neo Chef was a breeze, with it's 9-in-1 capabilities it is definitely one of my favourite appliances this season and one that I would recommend to anyone looking for a gift this Christmas.
